Regenbogenlori 2.0

Germany·Milkshake IPA
Tap to rate

The Regenbogenlori is an Australian parrot with a taste for mangoes, and this Oatcream IPA is a collaboration with Vogelsang from Austria. For version 2.0 one of the three hops was swapped: Galaxy brings passion fruit and peach, Citra citrus and mango, Cryo Pop concentrated tropical fruit. Oats and lactose give a creamy, full body, and heavy dry hopping puts fruit before bitterness. 6.8 % ABV.

◎ Appearance

A hazy golden-amber body with a fine, persistent white head that clings to the glass in delicate lacing. The turbidity comes from suspended oats and yeast, characteristic of the milkshake IPA style. Moderate carbonation adds visual liveliness without aggression.

◐ Taste

The palate opens full and creamy, with oats and lactose creating a velvety mouthfeel that frames the tropical fruit impression. Mango and citrus dominate the mid-palate, supported by peachy stone fruit depth. Bitterness arrives measured and restrained—hop character speaks through fruit rather than resinous intensity, maintaining balance without drying the finish.
