Faked Alaska
Faked Alaska is what the brewery calls a pudding IPA: a New England-style IPA brewed with vanilla and lactose and dry hopped with Mosaic, Azacca and Citra. Vanilla and milk sugar give a creamy sweetness reminiscent of custard and ice cream, against which the hops set mango, pineapple and orange. The body is full and smooth, the bitterness low. It contains lactose and is not vegan. The brewery makes it in occasional batches rather than continuously.
