Spring Bock
A copper-colored German-style Bock with a smooth, malty taste and a hint of sweetness; a light addition of hops balances the malt. Five types of malt build the flavor, Perle and Saaz are the hops, and the lager takes eight weeks to ferment and age. At 6.9% ABV and 24 IBU it debuted in February 1998 and is brewed from December to March. Silver at the 1998 World Beer Cup.

What is a Bock?
Bocks are strong German lagers with 6.5–7.5% ABV. Rich malt sweetness — toast, chocolate, caramel — with low bitterness and a warming finish.
Finding a similar Bock
hopIQ matches by flavor profile — not just style label. A beer with the same malty, smooth, noble-hop character as Spring Bock will score highly even if brewed in a different country or under a different sub-style name.
