🌍 Germany · Kellerbier · One of 109 Kellerbiers in hopIQ

Radeberger Pilsner Zwickel follows the recipe and brewing process of the pilsner but is packaged just before the final filtration, unfiltered and unpasteurised. Suspended yeast and protein leave a light haze and a softer, rounder body. The aroma leans to cracker and fresh bread with floral and herbal hops; on the palate bready malt and a hint of sweetness sit ahead of a restrained, spicy bitterness, and the finish is dry and crisp. For a long time it was poured only at the brewery taps in Radeberg and Dresden; it now also ships in cans.
