Radeberger Exportbierbrauerei
Radeberger Exportbierbrauerei was founded in 1872 as the Aktienbrauerei Zum Bergkeller in Radeberg near Dresden and is regarded as the first brewery in Germany to brew exclusively in the pilsner style. Its name goes back to an early export trade. Bismarck named the beer his Kanzler-Bräu in 1887, and in 1905 it became the table drink of the Saxon king Friedrich August III. For about 150 years the brewery made a single beer; an alcohol-free one followed in 2022. It is the namesake brewery of the Radeberger Gruppe, owned by the Oetker family.
