Lush Rat

Tap to rate

Lush Rat is a hazy, double dry-hopped extra pale ale brewed with extra pale malt, jumbo oats and torrified rice. Four hops go into it: Citra, Nelson Sauvin, Superdelic and Topaz. The brewery describes juicy gooseberry and white grape flavours with a twist of lime zest; alongside these sit lighter tropical and candied fruit notes. The rice keeps the body light while the oats add softness, so the beer is easy to drink despite the heavy hopping. Bitterness is low and the finish is zesty. It joined the Rat line in February 2026.
