Corncrake

Tap to rate

Corncrake is a rich gold ale with honey, vanilla, spice and grapefruit in the nose, then lemon, apricot and peach on biscuity pale malt, finishing crisp, hoppy and spicy. Columbus and Styrian Goldings bring New World fruit and keep it thirst-quenching. The corncrake is a rare, elusive bird that migrates to Orkney to breed; one landed in front of the brewery, so the brewers dedicated a beer to it.
