Pours a hazy golden-orange, displaying the cloudiness characteristic of this style through unfiltered brewing. Medium body and moderate carbonation support a resilient foam layer that clings to the glass walls with visible lacing. The opacity suggests a deliberate embrace of yeast suspension rather than filtration.

◌ Aroma

The nose leads with bitter grapefruit pith and candied citrus zest, grounded by Centennial and Amarillo hop character. A subtle herbaceous backdrop of pine and grass emerges beneath, accompanied by a light malt undertone that prevents the citrus from dominating entirely. The overall impression is bright and aromatic without being piercing.

◐ Taste

Entry carries forward the tart citrus character with a crisp, almost brisk mouthfeel. The mid-palate balances grapefruit acidity against a moderate bitterness (60 IBU) that feels structured rather than aggressive. Dry maltiness provides anchor and prevents the fruit from becoming one-dimensional, while a light spice note lingers in the background.

◑ Finish

The finish is dry and fairly brief, with residual bitterness from the hops fading cleanly into a light, peppery spice. No sweetness or cloying character persists; instead, a faint herbal memory accompanies the final fade.

Serve at 8–11°C for the best flavour balance and aroma expression.
