🌍 United States · Cold IPA · One of 9 Cold IPAs in hopIQ

A Cold IPA released in 2026 by the brewery that first brewed the style. Following its own definition of the style, it rests on a dry lager grist with rice or corn, fermented warm with lager yeast and filtered clear, but takes a more floral direction than the house original. Rose, lavender and a sweet, punch-like fruitiness lead, followed by pomelo, lemon peel and a pink fruit-candy note. The body stays light, and the finish is crisp and dry with firm bitterness.

◌ Aroma

The nose leads with delicate floral notes—rose and lavender—layered over bright citrus and stone fruit. Below this aromatic expression sits a sweet, punch-like fruitiness that sits comfortably with the clean lager character. The overall profile balances hop-forward florality with a gentle malt sweetness, showing restraint rather than intensity.
