Záviš

Tap to rate

Golden in colour, with a fine crispness, fullness, a noticeable hop aroma and a pleasant bitterness. Záviš of Falkenštejna, the beer's namesake, was lover and later husband of Kunhuta, widow of Přemysl Otakar II; for a short time the couple found refuge at Svojanov castle, in forests less than 20 km from Polička. This light 12° lager is lagered strictly two months in rock cellars, unpasteurised and microfiltered.
