Hoptopias IPA

◎ Appearance

Pale golden-amber hue with excellent clarity and bright translucence. The head rises firm and white, settling to a persistent collar with fine Schaumhaftung that clings to the glass walls throughout the pour. Carbonation is visible and lively, rising steadily in the body.

◌ Aroma

The nose leads with ripe mango and fresh pineapple, backed by citrus zest and subtle orange blossom. Edelhopfen character dominates the top note, with only soft Malz backbone—toasted grain and light caramel emerge beneath the tropical fruit. No alcohol burn; the 8% ABV remains well-integrated.

◐ Taste

Entry is smooth and creamy, with the oat adjunct coating the palate and softening the alcohol warmth. Mid-palate develops tropical stone fruit and orange rind, balanced against a measured but clean bittering edge around 59 IBU—present enough to assert structure without dominating. Finish carries gentle resin and citrus peel dryness.

◑ Finish

Medium-length finish with lingering orange and pineapple notes fading into a dry, slightly grassy aftertaste. No harsh astringency or alcohol bite; the beer concludes clean and approachable despite its Double IPA strength.

Serve at 8–11°C for the best flavour balance and aroma expression.

The curved shape concentrates hop aromas and supports a thick head. Essential for aromatic ales and IPAs where the nose is half the experience.
