◎ Appearance

Double Overhead pours a bright golden amber with excellent clarity and a thick, persistent white head. Strong carbonation is evident from active bubbles rising through the glass, creating an inviting visual presentation typical of well-crafted DIPAs.

◌ Aroma

The nose explodes with vibrant tropical fruit character—prominent mango and passion fruit notes from the Citra and Mosaic hops take center stage. Underlying citrus zest and subtle floral elements provide complexity, while a resinous quality hints at the assertive hop profile to come.

◐ Taste

The palate opens with bright grapefruit and citrus notes that immediately establish the hop-forward character. Mid-palate reveals layered tropical fruit complexity with pine and subtle earthiness, balanced by modest malty sweetness that prevents the beer from becoming one-dimensional. Bitterness builds steadily, creating a warming, resinous sensation.

The finish is decidedly dry with a persistent bitter aftertaste that lingers beautifully. Pine and resinous notes extend the experience, leaving a satisfying warmth that underscores this beer's intensity.

Serve at 8–11°C for the best flavour balance and aroma expression.
