Tap to rate
🌍 United States · Pale Ale · One of 186 Pale Ales in hopIQ

Green Circle Pale Ale was introduced in 2023 and is named after the trail network around Stevens Point, whose upkeep receives part of the proceeds. It is hopped with Mosaic and Talus. The aroma brings tropical fruit, ripe berries and grapefruit peel over a light pine and resin note, with a faint coconut-like softness from the Talus. A clean pale malt base keeps the body medium-light, and a firm but not sharp bitterness gives a dry finish.

◌ Aroma

The nose leads with bright tropical fruit and ripe berry notes from the Mosaic hops, underscored by distinct grapefruit peel zest. A light pine and resin backbone provides herbal structure, while Talus contributes a subtle coconut-like softness that rounds the profile. The clean pale malt base remains restrained, allowing the hop character to dominate.

◐ Taste

The palate opens with a clean, medium-light body that emphasizes the hop-forward character without heaviness. Tropical and berry flavors integrate seamlessly with a measured grapefruit bitterness that builds gradually. The firm but not aggressive bitterness drives toward a dry finish, while the malt provides just enough neutral sweetness to balance the frame.

How to get the most out of Green Circle

Serve at 7–10°C
Refrigerate, then rest 2 min

Cold enough to sharpen the hop aroma without numbing the palate. Around 7–9°C keeps the citrus and pine vivid without losing bitterness definition.
