Tall Ship presents a bright golden hue with excellent clarity and a fine, persistent white head that leaves delicate lacing down the glass. The carbonation is moderate and even, creating a visual impression of balance and accessibility. Light plays through the beer with a soft luminosity characteristic of the blonde ale style.

◌ Aroma

The nose leads with gentle herbal and floral notes from Willamette hops, supported by a soft, inviting toffee sweetness from the Carastan malt. There is no aggressive citrus or resinous character; instead, the aromatic profile remains restrained and elegant. A subtle biscuity undertone rounds out the bouquet, suggesting a clean fermentation and careful ingredient balance.

Entry is smooth and rounded, with the pale and Carastan malts delivering a light caramel character that sits comfortably on the palate without becoming cloying. The mid-palate maintains an accessible sweetness balanced by the mild herbal and noble-hop character, while bitterness remains subdued at 14 IBU, never asserting dominance. The body is soft and approachable, inviting another sip rather than demanding contemplation.

The finish is clean and faintly biscuity, departing with restraint and leaving no lingering astringency or hop burn. A gentle malty fade characterizes the aftertaste, making this an eminently refreshing and easy-drinking conclusion.
