Piece of Cake Tarte Tatin

Tap to rate

Complex layers of maltiness, sticky caramel, biscuit and apple, in a rich, full body: a pastry barleywine at 10% and 15 IBU, hopped with Magnum. The brewers first set out to make a Tarte Tatin pastry stout, then decided a barleywine would suit those flavours better, so this edition of the Piece of Cake series is a barleywine rather than a stout.
