Contact Haze

Tap to rate

Bright raspberry, currant, citrus, guava and passion fruit come through on a big hop aroma with low bitterness, a mild haze and a soft, creamy light-to-medium body. El Dorado, Mosaic, Southern Passion, Sabro, Citra and Sultana go over pale ale malt, flaked barley and oat malt. Elysian built it as its answer to the haze craze after over two decades of IPAs: 6 % ABV, 39 IBU, with 1950s sci-fi label art.

◐ Taste

The palate opens with soft, creamy mouthfeel that carries the fruity hop character forward smoothly. Flavors of guava, passion fruit, and citrus develop across the mid-palate with a gentle sweetness from oat and flaked barley, while the 39 IBU bitterness remains restrained and supportive rather than dominant. The body stays light-to-medium and never feels heavy, allowing the delicate interplay of fruit and malt sweetness to remain the focus throughout.
