Czech Republic·Czech Pale Lager
Tap to rate

A light summer lager for all-day drinking or a refreshing break in the biggest heat: single-decocted, so very light yet still full, with a pleasant aroma from cold hopping with Most or Kazbek. Once a year, at the turn of August and September, the brewers make a wet-hop version with fresh Kazbek cones, which have to go into the beer within 24 hours of harvest. Hopped with Žatec Poloraný červeňák on Pilsner and barley malt.

Remarkably smooth and refreshing on entry, with a light body that belies genuine fullness from the single-decoction process.
