◎ Appearance

Luminous golden-yellow body with excellent clarity and fine, persistent carbonation. A dense white head forms readily and clings to the glass with strong Schaumhaftung, leaving defined lacing on the way down. The overall impression is bright and inviting, characteristic of the Belgian Golden Ale style.

◌ Aroma

The nose leads with delicate fruity esters—stone fruit and subtle citrus—layered over a pronounced spicy phenolic character from the yeast that recalls clove and white pepper. Underneath lies a soft honey sweetness from the malt, with gentle floral notes that add complexity without overwhelming. A faint alcoholic warmth rounds out the bouquet.

◐ Taste

The palate opens with a smooth, refined sweetness—honeyed Malz notes blend seamlessly with stone fruit and orange character. The yeast phenolics emerge mid-palate with a pleasant spicy bite, while restrained noble hop bitterness (25 IBU) provides structure without aggression. The 7% ABV manifests as a gentle warming sensation that integrates cleanly into the overall experience.

The finish is dry and moderately long, with lingering spice and a soft honey fade. The alcohol warmth persists gently without becoming hot or harsh, leaving the palate refreshed rather than fatigued.

Serve at 7–10°C for the best flavour balance and aroma expression.

The wide mouth and heavy base promote head formation and channel rich aromatics toward the nose. Traditional for Belgian strong ales.
