Tap to rate
🌍 Spain · Pale Lager · One of 167 Pale Lagers in hopIQ

The first beer Althaia ever brewed and still its best-seller, it is a brilliant straw-gold beer with a dense white head. The nose brings clean, softly malty grain with fresh floral and citrus hop notes. On the palate it is bottom-fermented and easy-drinking yet with good body, balancing cereal sweetness against a crisp hop bite before a clean finish. It is unfiltered and unpasteurised and matures for a month in horizontal tanks. The brewery claims to have coined the term Mediterranean Lager.

What is a Pale Lager?

Euro Pale Lagers are clean, refreshing lagers with 4–5.5% ABV and IBU 10–25. Soft malt sweetness, light hop bitterness and high carbonation make them supremely drinkable.
