Choice Brew presents a pale golden hue with pronounced haziness characteristic of the New England style. The beer pours with a full, creamy head that settles into a soft collar with good retention. Fine carbonation creates a soft, pillowy mouthfeel throughout the glass.

◌ Aroma

The nose leads with vibrant passionfruit and lime peel, followed by bright grapefruit zest from the Motueka and Rhapsody varieties. Beneath these citrus notes lies a characteristic white grape and gooseberry undertone from Nelson Sauvin, adding herbaceous complexity without harshness. The overall impression is fresh and juicy, with negligible malt presence.

◐ Taste

The palate opens with a soft, fruity entry that emphasizes juice and stone fruit character over hop bitterness. Mid-palate carries tropical notes of gooseberry and citrus with a rounded, full-bodied mouthfeel. At 14 IBU, bitterness remains minimal and well-integrated, allowing the hop varieties to express their delicate aromatic qualities rather than asserting harshness.

◑ Finish

The finish is clean and moderately dry, with lingering citrus notes fading gracefully. A slight white grape character persists on the aftertaste without any sharp edges.

Serve at 8–11°C for the best flavour balance and aroma expression.

The curved shape concentrates hop aromas and supports a thick head. Essential for aromatic ales and IPAs where the nose is half the experience.
