White Pale

Tap to rate

White Pale is a light, hop-accented wheat beer that takes the classic German Weissbier as its starting point. Pale and hazy in the glass and soft on the palate, it brings gentle citrus, ripe stone fruit and a delicate spice note, closing on a crisp finish. At 3.9% it is lighter than a typical Weissbier. It first appeared in summer 2026 and has since been on draught at the Hooper Street taproom and at the Engineer's House by the river.

◐ Taste

The palate opens soft and approachable, with the hop character present but measured at 14 IBU—providing definition rather than bitterness. Citrus and stone fruit flavors echo the nose, supported by a light Malz foundation that avoids heaviness. The 3.9% ABV keeps the body lean and refreshing, allowing the hop and fruit interplay to remain the focal point.
