◌ Aroma

Roasted grain and dark malt lead the charge, with a pronounced coffee note that sits at the core of the nose. Beneath lie dried dark fruits—plum and raisin—with a subtle caramel sweetness that does not dominate. The overall impression is earthy and warming rather than sugary.

◐ Taste

The palate enters with rich roasted malt and coffee character, developing into layers of plum and dark berry as it progresses. Despite the full body and brewing tradition, the finish dries considerably, the bitterness (25 IBU) asserting itself against any residual sweetness. A smooth, warming alcohol presence threads through without becoming obtrusive.

◑ Finish

The aftertaste is pleasantly dry and sustained, with lingering coffee and roasted grain notes. No cloying sweetness remains—instead, a clean, slightly bitter conclusion that invites another sip.
