🌍 Belgium · Pale Lager · One of 167 Pale Lagers in hopIQ

Roman Black Label is the gluten-free lager of the Roman Range. Its name replaced Black Hole, a beer the brewery launched in 2005. Since 2021 the recipe has been gluten-free. The brewery calls it a premium pils but describes only a light bitterness. Fruit, hops and a touch of fresh grass lead in the nose over clean lager malt. The palate moves from sweet malt to herbal hop notes and a mild bitterness, ending refreshing with a faint mineral edge.
