Deep red to amber-red in the glass, achieved through the blend of toffee and caramel malts. The beer shows good clarity with a fine, persistent white head that builds and holds firmly. Carbonation is moderate and even, creating gentle foam that clings to the glass as you drink.

◌ Aroma

The nose opens with pronounced toffee and caramel from the malt bill, layered beneath bright stone fruit and passionfruit notes from Galaxy hops. A herbaceous, piney edge from Topaz emerges in the middle, while Enigma contributes subtle red berry undertones. The overall impression is balanced between sweet malt character and assertive, fruity hop aromatics.

◐ Taste

Entry is full and sweet from the caramel malts, establishing a rich foundation. The mid-palate shows how the three Australian hops layer: passionfruit and stone fruit, herbaceous pine, and berry notes all compete for attention, while a building bitterness at 65 IBU steadily cuts through the sweetness. The palate is complex and engaging, with the malt spine holding firm throughout.

◑ Finish

The close is long and resinous, with dry astringency that extends well into the aftertaste. Bitterness persists without harshness, while the fruit and herb notes fade gradually, leaving a clean, slightly spicy drying sensation on the palate.

Serve at 8–11°C for the best flavour balance and aroma expression.
