äs Gäächs

Switzerland·Spiced / Herbed Beer
Tap to rate

Hay-like and slightly bitter, at 4.8% ABV. Wild hay from the steep slopes of the Heubrig massif above the Muotathal, harvested by hand, goes into the brew. The name Gääch means steep and recalls the extreme conditions of that harvest. Launched in 2016, it was the first hay beer in Switzerland. Brewed in Einsiedeln by Brauerei Rosengarten.
