Bio Kübelbier

Tap to rate

Naturally cloudy organic Zwickl, tapped straight from the tank into a pail, as Mühlviertel brewers did 500 years ago. Because it stays unfiltered, protein, yeast and hop aromas remain in the beer, which comes out properly hoppy with Select, Tradition and Aurora hops, easy-drinking and harmonious. It matures in a cellar seven metres deep. 5.3% ABV.

◐ Taste

Hoppy and dry on entry, with a crisp bitterness that integrates harmoniously rather than dominating. The mid-palate shows soft malt sweetness and a grainy, slightly yeasty texture from the suspension of proteins and live yeast. The beer drinks remarkably smooth and easy despite its assertive hop profile, finishing with a clean, lingering herbal bite.
