Lissa Huera

Tap to rate

Lissa huera is the first recorded name of Lysá hora, the highest peak of the Czech Beskydy, at whose foot the brewery stands; soft water running down from its summit is the base of all the brewery's beers, and this IPA celebrates the mountain. Its taste is fruity. Premiant, Summit and Cascade go over Pilsner, Munich and caramel malts, at 14° Plato.

◐ Taste

The palate opens soft and fruity, with immediate tropical and citrus character that builds toward a balanced, moderate bitterness. Munich and caramel malts provide a rounded sweetness and body, while the moderate IBU (25) keeps the finish clean rather than harsh, allowing fruit flavors to persist through the mid-palate.

Serve at 8–11°C

Serve well-chilled. Session IPAs are at their best cold — the lower ABV means less warmth to balance the hops.

Tulip glass

The curved shape concentrates hop aromas and supports a thick head. Essential for aromatic ales and IPAs where the nose is half the experience.

Drink fresh. Session IPAs are brewed to be consumed young — the hops are at their best now.
