◌ Aroma

The nose is restrained and delicate, leading with subtle grain and light malt sweetness. A gentle herbal-grassy note from noble hops emerges on the second pass, while the overall impression remains clean and unobtrusive. The aroma reflects the minimal residual sugar and efficient fermentation of Asahi's proprietary yeast strain.

The palate opens with a slim, crisp malt character and brief sweetness before transitioning to gentle bitterness. The body remains light and dry throughout, with a fine-grained texture and excellent balance between malt and hops. Adjuncts contribute to the clean, uncluttered flavor profile without introducing unwanted sweetness or heaviness.

The finish is quick, clean, and thoroughly dry—the hallmark karakuchi character—with minimal aftertaste. Bitterness fades rapidly, leaving only a refreshing sense of dryness and cleanliness on the palate.
