Belmont
Belmont is an IPA inspired by modern West Coast examples. The grist is Pilsner malt alone, a blend of German and Czech malts with no caramel malt, the yeast is a California ale strain, and the hops are a current mix of Simcoe, Strata, Citra and Riwaka. The result is extremely pale, clear, dry and bitter, with intense grapefruit and mandarin and pleasant shadings of pine, berries and tropical fruit.

hopIQ matches by flavor profile — not just style label. A beer with the same citrusy, dry, bitter character as Belmont will score highly even if brewed in a different country or under a different sub-style name.
