Beers similar to Original Schlüssel Summer Ale

Brauerei Schlüssel

Pale Ale·Germany·5% ABV·One of 700 Pale Ales in hopIQ·

hopIQ found 10 beers that share Original Schlüssel Summer Ale's hoppy and citrusy character. A light pale ale poured on draught in summer, first served in the brewery's tent at the Rheinkirmes and since then also in the tap house. It is pale in the glass and hop-forward, with balanced citrus and fruit notes from Simcoe hops, which bring grapefruit and a resinous hint of pine; a restrained dry hopping lifts the aroma further. Light in body and fresh rather than bitter, it stands as the summer counterpart to the house Altbier.
