Beers similar to Black IPA

hopIQ found 10 beers that share Black IPA's hoppy and piney character. A black IPA where the hops lean coniferous, all fir needle and pine resin over a dark base. Dark malt supplies cocoa and a light coffee note, kept smooth rather than charred so it does not fight the hops, with a hint of burnt toast behind it. The body is medium and the finish dry, resin and roast pulling in the same direction instead of against each other.
