Citrus and resinous pine rise from the glass before the first sip, joined by tropical fruit on the palate. Vienna and Caramel Munich malts supply a noticeable toffee and bready sweetness that holds the high bitterness in check. The bitterness is heavy and lingering, with a warming alcohol note in the finish. Hops include Dr Rudi, Amarillo, Citra, Columbus, Simcoe and Vic Secret.
