A pale golden haze dominates the glass, with suspended particulates creating soft opacity rather than murk. The head is modest but persistent, leaving delicate trails of lacing on the walls. Fine carbonation rises steadily, contributing to the overall impression of lightness and approachability.

◌ Aroma

The nose opens with bright citrus notes—lime zest and lemon rind—layered with herbal lemongrass from the Motueka hop. Underlying the brightness sits a gentle grain bed from oats and wheat, adding softness without dominating. A subtle tropical fruitiness emerges on closer inspection, balancing the sharp top notes.

◐ Geschmack

Entry is clean and lean, the oat and wheat base delivering a smooth, almost creamy mouthfeel despite the beer's modest body. Mid-palate develops citrus bitterness and hoppy character from Krush and HBC 638, though restrained by the low ABV. The single dry-hop charge remains fresh without assertiveness, allowing the malt sweetness and wheaten texture to carry equal weight.

The finish is short to medium, fading cleanly with lingering citrus brightness and a whisper of grain sweetness. No harsh drying or lingering bitterness; the aftertaste remains refreshing and drinkable.
