A New Leaf Hazy IPA

◎ Appearance

A New Leaf presents a pale golden hue with pronounced cloudiness derived from suspended yeast and oat adjuncts. The dense, creamy head forms quickly and clings persistently to the glass walls, leaving fine lacing with each sip. Bright carbonation animates the body, lending visual liveliness to the pour.

◌ Aroma

The nose leads with ripe tropical fruit—mango and passionfruit—layered beneath moderate herbal and floral hop character. Soft oat malt provides a gentle, grainy backbone without heaviness. A whisper of citrus zest and white flowers rounds out the aromatic profile, inviting without aggressive assertiveness.

◐ Taste

Entry is smooth and pillowy, with oat-derived creaminess coating the palate immediately. Mid-palate evolves into bright citrus and stone fruit flavors offset by moderate bitterness (50 IBU), which cleanses without dominating. The wheat and oat adjuncts create a full-bodied texture that belies the moderate 5.4% ABV.

◑ Finish

The finish transitions cleanly toward a light, refreshing dryness. Subtle hoppy and fruity notes linger briefly before fading into a crisp, quenching aftertaste.

Serve at 8–11°C for the best flavour balance and aroma expression.

The curved shape concentrates hop aromas and supports a thick head. Essential for aromatic ales and IPAs where the nose is half the experience.
