Conspiracy IPA

◎ Aussehen

Pale golden colour with bright clarity and a fine, white head that settles to a thin collar with moderate lacing. The carbonation is visible and lively, typical of a well-conditioned West Coast IPA. The light straw hue and clean presentation reflect the beer's focus on hop character over colour intensity.

◌ Aroma

The nose is the centrepiece of this beer: sharp pine resin and grapefruit pith dominate, layered with bright orange zest. These Chinook and Simcoe hop characteristics are crisp and inviting, with minimal malt backdrop—just a faint suggestion of light caramel sweetness to round the overall impression. The aroma is distinctly Northwest in character, resinous and citric without softer fruit notes.

◐ Geschmack

The palate opens with the same citrus and resin notes from the nose, carried across a lightly caramelised malt base that provides necessary structure without sweetness. The medium body holds the hop bitterness well, allowing both piney and citrus oils to develop through the mid-palate. A firm, dry bitterness closes the finish, assertive and clean, with lingering resin and orange notes.

◑ Abgang

The finish is dry and lingering, with resin and orange zest persisting on the palate for several seconds. No sweetness remains, only a clean hop bitterness and a faint orange pith note that gradually fades.
