Mettle presents a bright golden hue with excellent clarity and a fine, persistent head. The carbonation is lively without being aggressive, and the beer maintains good lacing as it settles in the glass.

The nose leads with vibrant tropical fruit—pineapple, mango, and orange—layered beneath a pronounced dank hoppy character that grounds the aromatics. Resinous and herbal notes emerge beneath the fruit, creating a complex and inviting bouquet that evolves with each nosing.

◐ Geschmack

Orange and melon enter first on the palate, followed by lighter pineapple notes and a subtle white-pith bitterness that sharpens the mid-palate. The hoppy depth builds steadily without overwhelming the fruit character, and the finish remains clean and dry with a lingering citrus bite.

The finish is sharp and moderately long, with lingering citrus and a gentle bitterness that fades gracefully. The aftertaste remains dry and refreshing, leaving no cloying sweetness.
