◌ Aroma

The nose leads with the distinctive spicy and herbal character of Saaz flowers, layered with soft, delicate floral notes that do not overwhelm. Beneath this noble-hop foundation, the Moravian barley contributes bread crust and a light honey sweetness, with a whisper of caramel adding subtle depth without heaviness. The overall aromatics are harmonious and inviting, classic to the Czech pale lager style.

◐ Geschmack

The palate entry is soft and malty, allowing the breadiness and honey notes to establish the foundation before the Saaz bitterness emerges in the mid-palate. This bitterness is rounded rather than sharp, integrating smoothly with the malt rather than dominating it. The balance tilts noticeably toward the grain, creating a fuller, slightly sweet character than a German pilsner would offer, with a fine caramel note supporting the finish.

The finish closes clean and dry, with the Saaz bitterness receding gracefully and the malt character fading into a pleasant, lingering grain sweetness. A sense of refinement persists without stickiness, leaving the palate refreshed and ready for the next sip.
