Fieldfare presents a hazy pale golden color with a soft, diffuse quality characteristic of the style. The natural opaqueness comes through distinctly, with suspended particulates creating a cloudiness throughout the body. A modest white head forms and maintains reasonable retention, with light lacing visible on the glass.

◌ Aroma

The nose is dominated by bright stone fruit and tropical notes—passion fruit and citrus leap forward from the Mosaic, Krush and Nectaron hop blend. Underneath lies a gentle cereal sweetness from the Maris Otter base, with oats contributing a soft, almost creamy undertone. The overall impression is vibrant and inviting, with no aggressive or sharp edges.

Entry is smooth and silky, the mouthfeel immediately softened by oats and wheat. The palate unfolds with those same hop-driven passion fruit and citrus characters, balanced by a restrained maltiness that avoids heaviness. Bitterness registers at 50 IBU—present but not assertive, providing structure without dominating the fruit-forward profile.

The finish is clean and relatively dry, with lingering citrus and stone fruit notes fading gradually. A subtle cereal dryness from the Malz adds closure without astringency.
