◎ Aussehen

Axis IPA presents a pale golden hue with excellent clarity and a fine, persistent white head that clings to the glass with good lacing. Carbonation is lively and well-integrated, producing a steady stream of fine bubbles that sustains the foam structure throughout the pour.

◌ Aroma

The nose leads with assertive tropical fruit notes—ripe mango and papaya—layered with bright citrus, particularly grapefruit and tangerine zest. A clean, herbal hop character emerges underneath, with subtle noble hop spice, while the underlying malt base remains understated and supportive without sweetness.

◐ Geschmack

Entry is crisp and hoppy, immediately delivering tropical and citrus flavors that dominate the mid-palate. The 60 IBU bitterness is well-integrated and balanced rather than harsh, creating a dry, lean body that avoids any residual sweetness. A light alcoholic warmth becomes perceptible in the middle, supporting rather than overwhelming the hop-forward profile.

◑ Abgang

The finish is clean and moderately long, with lingering citrus and herbal notes fading into a dry, slightly grainy aftertaste. Bitterness persists gently through the close without becoming astringent.
