Deep amber to copper-red in the glass, with excellent clarity and a fine, persistent head that builds a defined ring of lacing on the sides. The carbonation is moderate and even, yielding tight bubbles that sustain throughout the pour. Light transmission reveals a warm, jewel-like hue characteristic of the Imperial Red style.

◌ Aroma

The nose opens with prominent tropical and citrus notes—passionfruit, candied melon, and bright grapefruit from the Mosaic, Citra, Cascade, and Galaxy hops. Underneath, a substantial caramel and toffee character from the crystal malt base anchors the profile, adding warmth and depth. The alcohol is present but measured, integrating rather than dominating the aromatic landscape.

◐ Geschmack

Entry is full-bodied and fruity, with ripe berry and melon notes mingling with sweet caramel and toffee on the mid-palate. The 70 IBUs deliver a solid, clean bitterness that cuts through the malt sweetness without harshness, creating balance rather than dominance. The 8% ABV provides structure and slight warming, supporting the complexity without overheating the finish.

◑ Abgang

The finish is medium to long, with lingering citrus and berry notes fading into a dry, hoppy aftertaste. A subtle toffee warmth persists at the back of the palate, complementing the residual bitterness.
