Past Future presents a pale golden-yellow body with pronounced haziness characteristic of the New England IPA style. The dense, creamy head rises prominently and clings to the glass with notable lacing. Fine carbonation rises steadily through the turbid body, creating a visually soft and inviting presence.

The nose is dominated by ripe tropical fruit, with Galaxy hops lending distinct passion fruit notes layered beneath Citra's bright citrus character. A creamy sweetness suggestive of coconut and piña colada rises softly in the background, while Mosaic contributes darker stone-fruit and berry undertones that add subtle complexity and depth to the overall impression.

The palate opens with a rounded, fruit-forward character anchored by pineapple and mango notes that feel soft and creamy rather than sharp. Moderate bitterness at 45 IBU provides gentle restraint without dominance, allowing the hop character to shine as layered tropical flavors. The body remains full and smooth, with a slight sweetness that echoes the piña colada descriptor without becoming cloying.
