NIX Pale Ale

United Kingdom·Alcohol-Free Pale Ale

◌ Aroma

The nose is driven by pronounced hop character, opening with vibrant lemon and grapefruit notes that immediately dominate the bouquet. Secondary aromatics reveal tangerine, orange, and subtle stone fruit—melon and peach—followed by a faint herbal whisper of green tea. The specialty malts provide a soft, bready undertone that grounds the citrus-forward profile without competing for attention.

◐ Geschmack

The palate opens with clean, zesty citrus character that mirrors the aromatics, supported by a bready, slightly sweet malt foundation. The 40 IBU bitterness integrates smoothly without harshness, providing structure and balance rather than dominance. The body is surprisingly full for an alcohol-free beer, with the specialty malts contributing warmth and subtle depth throughout the mid-palate.

◑ Abgang

The finish is clean and soft, with citrus acidity fading gracefully into a gentle, lingering bready note. No harsh alcohol warmth or astringency; the aftertaste remains refreshing and approachable, inviting another sip.
