Silkie Stout

◎ Aussehen

A jet-black pour with a dense, tan head that clings persistently to the glass. The body is opaque and full, with lacing that traces the sides as you drink. Carbonation is gentle, appropriate to the style and weight of the beer.

◌ Aroma

Roasted coffee and dark chocolate dominate the nose, with a subtle warmth from the oat adjunct lending a grainy sweetness underneath. A faint citrus note—likely from the Pacifica hops—appears on closer inspection, adding a whisper of brightness to an otherwise earthy and malty profile.

◐ Geschmack

The palate opens with rich chocolate and roast notes that build smoothly across the mid-palate without harshness. The oats contribute a silken mouthfeel and subtle sweetness that balances the 30 IBUs of restrained bitterness. First Gold and Pacifica hops provide a clean, controlled bite that lingers without dominating.

◑ Abgang

A dry, lingering finish with coffee and cocoa notes fading into a gentle roast character. The body remains full but clean, with no astringency or cloying aftertaste.

Serviertemperatur 10–14°C
