The pour reveals an opaque pale gold body, characteristic of the hazy IPA style. Fine suspended particles from the double dry-hop charge diffuse light throughout, creating a luminous, slightly turbid appearance. The head forms with modest initial presence, settling into a delicate collar with fair retention and lacing.

◌ Aroma

The nose leads with bright lime and gooseberry, followed by passionfruit—typical markers of Motueka and Nelson Sauvin expression. A distinctive dry white-wine edge emerges from the Nelson Sauvin character, adding mineral tension and sophistication to the citrus base. The concentrated lupulin charge amplifies these noble-hop aromatics without harshness.

◐ Geschmack

The palate enters soft and approachable despite 6.5% ABV, with a medium body that feels balanced rather than full. Citrus and tropical fruit notes from the dry hops integrate seamlessly with moderate bitterness that sits comfortably mid-palate, never aggressive. The lupulin-reinforced bitterness carries distinct hop character rather than simple IBU harshness.

The finish dries cleanly with a green, faintly herbal note that lingers pleasantly without lingering excessively. A juicy quality persists through the aftertaste, leaving the palate refreshed and inviting another sip.
