◎ Aussehen

Deep black body with an impenetrable, opaque character. The unfiltered, unpasteurized nature yields a dense, tan head with strong and persistent lacing that clings to the glass. Carbonation is restrained, appropriate to the imperial stout's heavy structure.

◌ Aroma

The nose leads with roasted coffee and dark cocoa, layered with subtle earthy undertones. Toast and charred malt provide backbone, while the 8% ABV remains gracefully restrained in the aroma, allowing the darker roasted character to dominate without heat or spiritus notes.

◐ Geschmack

Rich and full-bodied on entry, with pronounced roasted coffee and chocolate notes woven through the mid-palate. The bitterness is harmonious rather than aggressive—35 IBU asserting itself as a supporting frame rather than the focal point. A creamy mouthfeel and smooth character emerge despite the beer's weight, with subtle dark fruit and a warming alcohol presence that deepens toward the swallow.

◑ Abgang

Long, lingering finish that draws out the roasted and cocoa tones into a dry, slightly boozy fade. The bitterness persists gently through the aftertaste without becoming harsh.

Etwas wärmer als erwartet. 10–13°C lässt die gerösteten Malz-, Schokoladen- und Kaffeenoten vollständig entfalten.
