Deep brown to nearly black in color, with excellent clarity and a tight, persistent head formed by nitrogen carbonation. The dense foam clings to the glass walls with fine Schaumkleiden, creating a silky visual texture characteristic of nitro service. The body appears full and substantial without cloudiness.

◌ Aroma

The nose leads with roasted grain and dark malt character, accompanied by subtle chocolate and coffee notes. Beneath these roasted impressions lies a gentle undercurrent of dried dark fruit—plum and raisin—with no aggressive hop character. The overall aroma is clean and inviting, neither heavy nor overly aromatic.

◐ Geschmack

The palate opens smooth and creamy, the nitro carbonation creating a luxurious mouthfeel that carries roasted malt flavors throughout. Mid-palate reveals toasted grain and subtle chocolate alongside faint dark fruit notes, while bitterness remains restrained at 25 IBU—present but never harsh. The 4.5% ABV allows the malt character to dominate without any warming sensation.

The finish is dry and clean, with roasted grain persistence without astringency. Aftertaste is brief and fade is gentle, leaving a pleasant roasted memory on the palate.
