The nose is led by the distinctive Sorachi Ace character—lemongrass and lemon peel arrive first, followed by herbal verbena and a striking dill note that lingers. Beneath lies a peppery spice from the Belgian yeast, adding complexity and warmth to the aromatic profile. German pilsner malt contributes a subtle, clean grain foundation.

Entry is crisp and clean, with the Sorachi Ace hop character translating from nose to palate in the form of subtle citrus and herbal notes. Mid-palate reveals a firm, lean body that avoids heaviness despite the 7.2% ABV. Bitterness remains restrained at 34 IBU, allowing the dry, peppery finish to emerge without aggressive harshness.
