Red Jewel presents a hazy, light ruby body that catches the eye with gentle luminosity. The haziness speaks to the wheat and oat additions, while the color reflects the balance of Red X and honey malt tempered by subtle roasted barley. Head retention is moderate, with fine white foam that clings to the glass.

◌ Aroma

Nelson Sauvin and experimental New Zealand hop varieties lead with bright white grape and gooseberry notes, layered over a foundation of caramel and toast from the Malz bill. Faint dark-fruit character emerges beneath, while honey malt adds a soft, rounded sweetness to the bouquet. The overall impression is fresh and approachable, neither aggressive nor muted.

◐ Geschmack

The palate opens with soft caramel and toasted cereal notes, followed by citrus brightness from the hops that dances across the mid-palate. Wheat and oats deliver a velvety, smooth mouthfeel, while honey malt and a whisper of dark fruit sustain the sweetness. At 24 IBU, bitterness is restrained, allowing the malt character to remain prominent without cloying.

The finish is clean and moderately dry, with lingering honeyed malt and a faint citrus edge. Aftertaste fades gracefully without harshness, leaving a pleasant memory of stone fruit and white-grape sweetness.
