◎ Aussehen

A bright golden hue with excellent clarity and fine, persistent carbonation. The head forms with good density and holds a delicate white lacing around the glass as the beer settles. Light catches the liquid with luminous quality, befitting its pale malt base and extended aging across wood.

◌ Aroma

A layered nose opens with spicy, dry characteristics from aged noble hops, followed by stone fruit and grapefruit citrus. Underneath sits a subtle tropical pineapple note that softens the sharpness. The wood aging contributes earthy undertones and a gentle funkiness—complex rather than aggressive, inviting closer inspection.

◐ Geschmack

The palate is dry and refined, with peach and citrus notes developing across the mid-palate alongside a light tart character. Oak influence is present but never dominating, allowing the fruity complexity to shine. Bitterness is restrained at 10 IBU, letting the age and microbiological character express themselves fully without harsh edges.

◑ Abgang

A quiet, lingering finish marked by dryness and a subtle funky earthiness from years in wood. The aftertaste fades gradually, leaving mineral and wood notes on the palate without demanding attention.
