Pours bright gold with excellent clarity and a fine, persistent white head. The carbonation is lively but controlled, creating steady streams of bubbles that maintain good head retention and leave distinct lacework across the glass as you drink.

◌ Aroma

The nose leads with vibrant passionfruit and stone fruit notes from the Simcoe and Mosaic hops, backed by a broader tropical fruit aroma that suggests mango and pineapple. Beneath the fruit lies a restrained malt sweetness and subtle citrus undertones that anchor the hop expression without allowing the 8.5% alcohol to assert itself harshly.

◐ Geschmack

The palate enters with ripe tropical fruit and develops a full, hoppy character across the mid-palate, where the Centennial hop variety adds layered bitterness without astringency. The underlying light malt backbone provides gentle sweetness and body, preventing the beer from feeling thin or overly harsh despite its double IPA strength and significant bitterness.

The finish is crisp and dry, with lingering bitter notes that gradually fade into a clean aftertaste. The absence of stickiness at this strength is remarkable, leaving the palate refreshed rather than cloying.
